House D, Brussels, 2006

An ideal family home: centrally located and close to the Duden park, one floor for every activity, and with a large sunny garden.

Together with the adjacent house, the house was built in 1956 for private occupation by the brothers - architects Mignot. A special feature of the house is the uninterrupted course of the stairs.

The new design distributes the living space more evenly over the four floors, and the stairs become more defining.

The use of colour and materials emphasise the new coherence.
